|  Schapelle Corby story I don't know if any of you have heard of this but I was just watching this documentary on Schapelle Corby. I don't have a link to it but here is the wikipedia info on her: Schapelle Corby - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia After watching the documentary I'm convinced she is completely innocent. 20 years in jail for 10 lbs. of pot in her luggage, which from my knowledge and belief, was planted in her luggage as part of a drug smuggling connection, or someone close to her who isn't fessing up. Maybe this will serve as a warning to those of you who insist on trying to bring marijuana with them while travelling. WHAT A DUMB IDEA. |

| I saw that Doc some time ago, and I think the title was Ganja Queen. Whether she was innocent or not, I couldn't really tell. But the point of the documentary was really just to get across how fucked those laws are. At one point they showed people protesting holding up signs saying basically "kill her" and waving them, literally, right in her mother's face...it was fucked up. again, it was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure there was one scene where the film makers went to some place and found many many people selling all kinds of drugs, pointing out how the extreme laws still doesn't keep people from finding/selling drugs. Kind of like another country I am familiar with......plus the US. |

| there's another similar movie not documentary but is based on a real life events. its about two girls that got busted in i believe Thailand after one of the girls is set up by a guy she meets there. there both still in jail i believe. there from the US. they got busted with heroin i think. it's definitely a movie to watch as it is a great movie. the movie is fairly old about 10yrs or so. maybe someone might know the movie. edit: Brokedown Palace is the movie. go rent it. excellent movie |
