Ok my friend informs me that there is a field of growing marijuana that was growing wild behind a cemetery. We park and walk to this field. We pull up 4 plants that were skinny and looks as if the seeds fell out of it already. The buds were not big at all. So we pull out and I notice my dash lights were not working. Pass right by an unmarked car in some small town county. He turns around and pulls me over right away. He gets my licence and expired insurance card. Well he sees all the stickers I have on my clothing and sais he will write me a warning for my tailights being out. So right at that time my tailights fuse goes out which was really ironic. Narcotics officer pulls up and takes me and 2 other people out the car and they find the weed. Other 2 get transported in cars, and I get transported in my own van full of weed. I get there and was asked if I wanted to talk. But I said I had nothing to say. I was in jail for a night and get bailed and I have a hearing to see what my charges are this thursday. The guy I was with basically ratted me out saying he didnt know where I was taking him when I was guided to the spot. He also told them where my pipe was and wanted to get out but he didnt.

So looks like I will get possesion with intent, or if it weighs out to 25lbs then it will be trafficing. I also have the possibility of getting paraphanilia charges also.

So what I want to know is if 4 plants that are very skinny and barely has any buds will weight the 25lbs? Can I blame the pipe being this guys pipe since he is trying to bring me down so he can get out? I know that he said this info as a trustee came to me with this info and there would be know way the trustee can know these small details. And I also get a ticket for no insurance.

I can't imagine 4 plants weighing that much. I remember planting fat ass palm trees in my backyard that weighed about 30 a peice. But I've never seen or handled an adult plant, so not totally sure.

As for your friend... did he want to bring the plants back too? You're obviously pinned for being the owner of the vehicle and having the plants in said vehicle, but who is to say it was all completely your idea? I'm not sure what type of person you are, but maybe you are easily talked into shit or peer pressured, and your buddy coaxed you into it.

Take some time to think about that night and write it down while its fresh in your head, then consult a lawyer. Make sure you only take your share of the blame in this matter.

That unmarked police vehicle that pulled you over probably belonged to the same guy that was growing the secret crop. Next time don't steal police weed =P.

Well the narcotics officer told me that they told the guy to get rid of the plants but he would never do it.

I was not peer pressured, but I was pushed to drive out there. I liked the idea of free plants so I said why not. But I figure out that it was miles and miles away and the quality was not good at all. So if I did get it, then I would have been stuck with some shitty weed and have no gas left. Either way it wasnt worth it and I was a dumbass.

To make the story better and to give you guys a good laugh. They put me in pink handcuffs.

haha well atleast I got a laugh out of all this.To be honest if your friend is going to be a dick and place you with all the blame, bring his ass down. tell the cops it was there idea to go out there, but they asked you to drive. tell them the pipe is his. this way you dont get charged with the paraphanela. also i have a question...what was the cops reason for pulling you over? I realize it was the tail light being out, but why did he search the car for a broken light?

You were the one who pulled them up. Did they weigh 25 lbs? In most states, they use the full weight of the plant as the weight, not the weight of the buds and leaves. "Marijuana" is defined as any part of the plant.

The paraphernalia charge is the least of your worries, like worrying about a scratch on your hand while a bear is chewing off your leg. 25 lbs. is serious felony weight!

Well I find out today that it was 6 pounds. I am getting a charge with possession with intent. But I have heard that a paraphernalia charge is more than a simple possession. This was all during night time and I think the cops had something to do with my broken tail light when they saw my van parked in "the spot"

Another question. Can the possession with intent be dropped to a simple possession charge? The weed is shitty for one. There wasn't much usable quantity. And I have a stable job, which thank god I still have.

I am going to be talking to a lawyer either today or tomorrow. Tomorrow I get to go to court and find out what the actual charges are. Today I am going to sign up for drug rehab volunteer classes to make things better on my part.
