I'll save the intro...

I'm getting a physical in 3 weeks. I smoked tonight. Is it possible (if they're not looking for it) to find that I smoked by a routine blood and urine test?

Also, if they find anything, can they tell my parents (Hippocratic oath?) if I'm 16?

They will only test for drugs at your parents request. And if they are testing you at your parents request, they will tell your parents.

The Hippocratic oath doesn't really apply when you are a minor.

Yeah they probably arnt testing for drugs...most likely they're just testing for healthy urine.

The Hippocratic Oath has nothing to do with whom a doctor can inform about your medical conditions. That's determined under federal and state laws.

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.
