I didn't know it was taken. It was at a party and I never gave anyone permission to take a picture of me smoking a joint. I asked the guy to take it down, but he won't. He is also in another country and I can't do anything about it.

I feel f*cked. If my employer ever sees it - I am screwed. If cops see it - I will probably get raided!

What can I do?

There are plenty of pictures of me obviously wasted, up on the net. None of me actually shown hitting, though.
Ask whoever posted those to remove the shot, pixielate your face or something like that.
It's more of a concern with possible employers than it is a matter of getting raided.

Or just deny it's a joint. Not that hard. I used to roll empty paper pieces back when I was 8 and said to my mom "look, I'm smoking!"...see wut today's culture does to children?

There is absolutely no way you'd get raided based solely on a picture of you smoking a joint on the internet. I know civil liberties are on the decline but I think cops would need a little more to go on...

A picture does not prove that you smoke marijuana. Though it is somewhat uncommon, people can and do roll their own cigarettes with loose tobacco and rolling papers. (I tried one once...pretty harsh on the lungs.) No police officer or DEA agent could prove just from that picture that it's marijuana, nor could they prove you were smoking it in your house. If they can neither prove that it is marijuana nor demonstrate some reason to believe that you'd have weed in your house just from one picture, you're probably not going to get raided.

Ask the person who put up the picture to remove it. If he will not, contact the site administrator and tell them to take it down.

In the meantime, try not to worry too much. There are literally millions and millions of pictures online that show people doing a lot worse things than hitting a joint - or, excuse me, a hand rolled [tobacco] cigarette. I could log on to facebook or myspace right now and, within minutes, find you dozens and dozens of pictures of people drinking underage, doing drugs and worse. If each and every person to ever post a single picture like that were to be pursued by law enforcement agents, facebook and myspace would probably be a whole hell of a lot less popular. Plus, anyway, I think the "cyber crimes" agents tend to focus their energy towards kiddie porn and snuff films rather than on kids who may or may not be smoking a little weed in a picture online.

You might be a little paranoid about nothing here. You would have a better chance at winning the lottery or being confronted by a rouge band of fairies than you would having an employer that just happened apon this pic on the internet. And as far as the popo "raiding" you because of this pic, that just isn't going to happen
