| Hello Everyone, I've browsed through the forums here and seem to have a somewhat unique situation. My wife is a conditional permanent resident here in the States. All this means is that she is here legally, but until we are married 2+ years, her residency is "condtiional." I was wondering, taking the worst case scenario of being busted for cultivation, how would this affect her status? Would she be deported or not allowed to stay? We're talking about 1 plant in California. Any info that any of you have would be greatly appreciated. I'm not going to risk it until I am fully informed. Thanks again. | |

| It depends on what she is convicted of. If it is a felony, she will not be allowed to stay in 99.5% of the cases.

| My wife was a resident alien in America for many years. I would not take the chance. One plant is not going to be worth the potential problems. Buy it from someone trustworthy, and make sure your wife is held out of all transactions. Marriage is hard enough without a State organized separation. Good luck
