The concept has been challenged and that's why there's case law presiding over that basic concept.

It may not be purty, but it's the law......for now.

I posted before I saw Niteshift's info. I don't need an attorney. My motivation is just curiosity and an interest in protecting rights.

I don't use marijuana or drugs but I am 100% against the war on marijuana. I am just concerned about the potential for corruption and abuse of authority possible in the enforcement of laws that target individual behavior that harms no-one.

I've only had time to look at one case that Niteshift was kind enough to tell us about. In that one probable cause already existed before the dog was brought in. The suspect was nervous and inconsistent in answering the officers questions. He refused a search of his luggage which is when the dog was brought in. I think the policemen's actions were reasonable and within the law. I just don't agree with the law.

I couldn't find any decisions becuse I was looking at US Supreme court cases and not in the lower courts.

Anytime Willy,
When you talk about case-law, you'll find that most of it comes from the Appellate courts. Only appeals that make to the Supreme Court are decide on and established there. Also when searching for case-law it is somewhat difficult when you are searching for a case with a commonly used name. For instance there are numerous decisions under US v Stone/ Stone v US/ Us v Stoner...etc..etc. I have found that Westlaw and Findlaw are the two best sources for case-law seacrhes.

Im confused here....how would someone say, transport mj via a domestic flight?
Im not about to put it in a suitcase, but what about on your body, or in a carry on? Im just paronoid about the whole thing.
All i would take would be enough for my own use while im on vacation. Nothing like sittin back on the beach, sparking a doobie.
Can anyone provide any info? pertaining to carrying it on your body as opposed to carrying it in your carry on.

Has long has you arnt leaving the country you should be pretty safe... not a 100% though... i fly every summer from NH to Tampa Florida and ive never seen K-9 units at the airport... but if your still parinoid you could always mail it right after the mail has been picked up the day before you leave... send it to the hotel or somthing, You have pretty good odds of it getting there, and if it dose get caught in the mail you can at least say you have no idea who it is from and that its probally from someone at home trying to get you in trouble or somthing... just a thought.

this may sound rather unsavoury but its the only way I travel with gear.

Note, dont try this in countries like Thailand because they are much more likely to xray you.

For short business trips, i.e. Germany to Sweden for 3 days. I'll either wrap 2 little pieces of hash in cling-film and flatten them with a bottle and slip them into my mouth, right at the back of each cheek, top of jaw, between teeth and cheek. You can talk and drink with them there and noone will notice. Its surprising how much you can transport this way. If its weed, you need to dry it completely and powder it, then do the same way as hash.

For a larger quantity, i.e. 2 week holidays in Portugal. Wrap up to 10-14 grams in cling film, rewrap 3 or 4 times in separate large sheets of clingfilm. Form it like a sausage, wet it and slide it up your ass. Try and make sure youve had bowel movements before hand otherwise it is a bit messy later. Wrapping it in 3 or 4 sheets of cling film allows you to dispose of the first wrap quickly and you can be sure the contents is not affected in any way.

I am not gay, although I have absolutely no problem with gay people. I started doing this many years ago while living in Germany cause I was driving once a week to Holland and the German Customs were terrifying me.

Being 40 years old with kids and family, I dont want to make a project of finding some dope to buy when Im on holidays.

My wife knows I do this and has no problem smoking a joint after arriving. It is clean.

The guy wants a good method to fly with his dope, I simply explained what I do.... and Ive done this for nearly 20 years.
