Would it be advisable to use tape with your favored method? Not duct tape as I understand it to contain some trace metal, but just regular tape? I'm worried about it falling about in there.

I eliminate the need for tape by placing it between two pair of underwear.

I have a pair of under armor compression shorts (if you don't know what that is, it's like a skin tight pant) so I was thinking of putting that on, then the baggie, then another pair of tight underpants. Just to be extra safe, though, is there any potential downside to using tape? I've done it before and it worked fine but I also made some rookie mistakes like using duct tape and also I felt like it was loose in there. So I guess I'm just asking if there's any particular reason to avoid tape other than it not being necessary for you? Thanks again.

Please watch this forum post for comments by Troublemakers and BartSimpson as they are VERY educated about the process of airport screening for info you seek. But since I'm respondin to this post I would advise you to NOT attempt to transport an Illegal Drug across State Lines--as this will only increase the severity of the penalty you will get if you get bussed. I have only done this one time in my life and packed in the bottom of a suitcase with duct tape--but I feel I got lucky and have not attempted it again. Please weigh carefully the Risk vs. Reward in your particular case though.

This is not correct - you would be charged the same as if you were walking down the street. Airports are not some special enhancement and the laws enforced are from the State which you are in.

Never place weed in your luggage, checked or carry-on.

Out of the millions of domestic travelers daily, hundreds of thousands are likely MJ smokers. Packing and carrying - and I am somewhat an expert - is simple.

We have 4 stories on this website of MJ smokers getting busted in airports - all were a result of their having weed in their luggage. Beyond my own personal experience, I would expect that if it was more that we would know by virtue than The TSA reports numbers weekly but not specifically to MJ - however it is about 20 persons weekly referred to LEO's for drugs.

We do not have a single report of an individual having personal use amount of weed using the whitey-tightey method getting busted.

Zero.

if i was to go on an airplane could i fit a spoon or bubbler in my pocket and not set off any alarms?? it will never have been used.
