Bong legality

Ok so I was just wondering that if I actually keep my bong completely, absolutely clean and free of any weed residue after every use, and I'm found with it by a cop and I tell them it's for tobacco, I can't be arrested for it for paraphernalia right? As long as they have no proof that it's used for weed...?

I'm 20 so tobacco is legal for me.

It could work, but it would need to be ridiculously clean all the time. And if you had weed on you, I'm sure they could consider it paraphernalia....

Just becqasue it looks clean...to you doesn't mean that THC won't be detected if the piece is actually tested by the police. Just becasue it isn't smeared with resin and looks fairly clean doesn't mean that it'll be "clean" enough to fool the cops, or their testing equipment...if the slightest trace of drug residue is detected, any claims about it being for tobacco are null and void, and they can continue prosecution.

Completely depends on the state and how strict they can be. Some states would just say, "ok", whatever. But others are assholes, and they will confiscate to test for thc and give you a nice ticket or a night in jail.

In theory yes, you could claim you just bought it and it is for tobacco only.

Now, in reality, even using a strong solvent such as acetone after every use will still leave some character odor, resulting in the peice being taken, tested, and you arrested.

Maybe if you cleaned it hardcore with rubbing alcohol and shit and then smoked a bunch of pipe tobacco you'd be alright.

That's what I would do anyways.

Have fun being twelve. Not all cops are corrupt. Just because a cop does his job doesn't mean that he's a scumbag. It seems like alot of people sometimes forget that WE are the ones doing stuff that is illegal.
