Exact chain of events - The cops knock on the door, a drug unit and a deputy. Me and my girlfriend were both in underwear, so we got dressed, hid the weed, and I opened the door while my girlfriend went into the bathroom. I talked to the cops, they told me they had information saying that I had and possibly sold marijuana. I told them I did not, that I may have one time to a friend. I let them in because I was scared and didnt know what else to do, I gave them the marijuana (under half an ounce), and he continued to question me. I was looking for the marijuana we had in a small container we had planned on smoking later. I asked my girlfriend where it was and she said she flushed it. The cops told me that they wanted nothing to do with me, they were looking for bigger fish, and that if I got them those bigger fish the charges on me would go away. They left, taking the Marijuana, the scale, and zig-zags. No arrest was made, no legal actions were taken against me, nothing more than confinscation. No rights were read to us. He gave me his number, left, and said to call him with any information I could get.

I know I was stupid for letting him in, I was high (as hell) and probably reeked, we had just finished smoking. I dont want to hear what I should have done, I know that now, I want to hear what I should do from here.
