|  just in case... i tend to drive around with a guy who happens to be a drug offender on probation. i've been told that cops can search my car after running his name through the system and seeing the previous drug charges, even if i only got pulled over for registration tags or something silly. i never drive drunk and rarely drive high, but i do often have a gram or two of weed in my bra. if they can search the car because of him, can they search me? and if there's an unopened bottle in the trunk, and he claims it, can i still get slammed with a MIP charge?
