im 16 years old and i'm a daily smoker. my parents don't know i smoke so guess where my Weed Laboratory is.... yup in my car. i don't keep large amounts in there but i usually have a bowl/1 hitter and a gram or 2 on me. im scared as shit to get pulled over (my parents would be pissed about a ticket and i have weed on me) so i never go over the speed limit.

so here is what i am confused about. i have these 2 big drug dealer guys who dont give a fuck. they drive drunk and high as fuck all the time with paraphenelia on them. they got pulled over with my friends glass bowl on them and the cop found it and just took it... no legal action whatsoever. no MIP no DUI, nothing...


what is the deciding factor of whether a cop just takes it or totally fucks you over and puts you on probation an all that?

IMO, it's said cop.....Sometimes you get lucky, he/she doesn't want 4 hours paperwork to bust a 16 yr old, just wants to scare 'em. Or maybe the cop just needed a bowl......

But seriously, it is the cop on that particular stop. he could just as easily pulled em out, searched, called k-9, the works, depending on where the stop was, and whether he/she was busy that night.. Attitude of driver/passengers often helps, too. (or hurts, as in " screw off pig, i am just gettin baked it ain't yo bidness" = trip to jail, or maybe just some nightstick time if you happen to be in L.A.)

Or, option 3, the drug dealer types needed the bowl, and told you a cop took it......

the cop..... thats it nuff said, your buddy was lucky, cause almost all the cops IVE ever been in contact with have done everything they could to fuck me over. Its like all the cops out there are people who were nobodys in school and feel like they have to take it out on every unlucky person in their way.

It depends on the cop, the kind of day he/she is having, your attitude, and a little luck never hurts. I've had weed taken away from me 5 or 6 times by the cops primarily because I didn't feed them any BS and treated their authority with respect.
Also search "teenage trifecta" and contemplate the circumstances.

If you're pulled over and the cop smells it or suspects you have it, come clean. If you're honest and sincere, they're more likely to give you a break. If you're an idiot and act like you don't have anything, give attitude or lie, it's likely he'll give you more trouble.

Act like a responsible adult, and he'll probably treat you like one. But there are no guarantees.
