| not exactly a drug story, but still kind of one. i'll let you decide. okay, i live in a big city, and i sort of "fit the description" by no fault of my own of a person that an ignorant person would/could suspect to be a criminal or drug dealer of some sort. okay, i drive to the store one day and park in the back of the parking lot because most of the other spot were taken up, and i didn't feel like being bothered waiting for a spot closer to the store, since i have two legs that work. okay , i go to the store by my a candy bar or something and leave. on my way out, there is a scraggly looking guy sitting not to far away on this little ledge and asks if i have any spare change. normally i just say no and keep going because i can tell the person isn't going to buy water like they say, but for some reason this time i pull out change from my pocket(around 40 cents) hand it to the guy and go on my way. remember my car is parked at the back of the parking lot, so i walk a little while, get in my car, put on my seatbelt, turn on the ignition, and then all of a sudden i see smoke everywhere and hear screeching behind/beside me. next thing i know, there are two cop cars screeching their tires, slowly boxing my car in for some reason. im awe struck right now, and have no idea whats going on. next thing i know, i see a cop come out of the car run up to my car with his gun drawn, and tap on my window really hard with his gun, and yells take the fucking keys out the igntion and throw them out the window. i roll the window down, hand him the keys, and he flings them on the top of my car. he tells me to step out the vehicle and i do so. he searches me without even asking me and pats me down, while this is going on, i ask the other cop present why are they doing this to me and what did i do wrong, and he just turns his nose up to me, ignores me and looks away. next the cop tells me to take my shoes off so he can look in them. well the ground was wet from it raining earlier and i just took my shoes off. they don't find anything, and he tells me to sit on the ground also. they go away for like a minute and come back and i guess they were running my info or something. they come back and ask what i gave to that man. i ssid i came out the store, he asked for change, and i gave him change. they said from where they were it looked like i did a hand to hand transaction with the guy and that guy is a repeat offender for buying drugs around and thats why they did what they did.and then he peeked in my car and saw a little debbie clear wrapper on my seat and asked what was that and i told him. next i explained to him that i work for a living and attend school, and that i don't sell drugs. so the one cop that was going all rambo on me half ass apologizes(i guess he felt a little sorry for being a dick) and they leave. im furious after that. anyways here are a few questions i had. i told some people i know about that, and they said i could get the cops in trouble because any time you are stopped and searched by a police that have to give you some type of paper called a field slip or something telling what they did, and they didn't do give me one. and another question was why did they wait until i got all way back to my car, wait til i got in, had it started, to pounce on me if they suspected i had just made a drug transaction to the guy by the store? if they were to find drugs on me, while i was in my car, would that give them a chance to throw something stronger like trafficking onto me? thats the only reason i can think of that they waited for me to walk across the whole parking lot to try and pull the stund they did. were any of my rights violated without me knowing so? btw all this happened like a year ago. ![]()

AS for why they waited...I can't answer that, but the mere fact they did wait wasn't a violation of your rights either. There mere fact you were in a car wouldn't add trafficking chages unless you were in possess of an amount of drugs that constituted trafficiking chages. Whether or not you were in a vehicle, though, really wouldn't play a role directly in that. HOWEVER, depending on the asset forfiture laws of your state, if a felony amount of drugs were found in the car, its possible they could move to seize the car. The cops had reason to believe they witnessed a crime in progress, however, and acted accordingly. Just another reason not to give bums change, I guess. ![]()

| daaaaaamn.... i can't believe that happened to you. man that sucks. personally, i would be furious, but i would fucking lmao over the fact they couldnt find anything. seeing their empty hands after harassing needlessly wouldve been priceless. fuck cops... that sting is a waste of time and money. i bet you a rape, robbery, or assault happened within that city that same night and it wasnt stopped. fuck cops. and im no lawyer, so i dont suggest u take my advice without further consultation, but i'd try and do something about it anyway. troublemaker knows much more about law as i obtained my GED in law (<--LOL. not my joke.) through a very hands-on approach. if he says you probably cant do anything about it, you probably cant. but laws change everyday: California appeals court rules patients and growers can sue over raids | NORML Daily Audio Stash living in America, i would think being searched so forcefully without a warrant or even a reason for your detainment is pretty illegal. i'm pretty sure this is exactly what the founders of our country hated above most other things as harassment from authority was typical in their day too. anyway, i really hate cops, so if you're like me, you should try fucking them over like they often try to fuck us over.
