| The duty of a police officer is to enforce the law. A cop is more than welcome to his own opinion on if he finds a law "good" or "bad", but his job is to enforce the laws, not create new ones or throw away old ones. Do I like all the laws police officers must enforce? No. Any cop who doesn't enforce the law is putting his ass on the line. I love getting a "get out of here" instead of a ticket, but I certainly don't expect it. Concerning the actual point of this thread: I could only answer that question if given a specific circumstance. There are grades of interpreting good cop, and the same with the idea of bad cop. |
