so today me and my 4 buds drove to our normal spot to smoke two bowls and hotbox

well right after we finished our 2nd bowl a cop comes driving down the street with no headlights hoping we won't see him. my friend immediately starts driving and we pass the cop.

the cop does a u turn and switches on his lights after which we pull over

he comes up to the car and greets us with a "HoWdY" and my friend tells him while there was smoke pluming out in the cops face that we were just eating halloween candy. well he keeps asking us what we were doing and we see another cop coming.

the cop says "just tell me what you were doing and we won't bust your balls" and right then my friend told him we smoked and the cop immediately waves the other cop off and he speeds away all fast.

after that he gave my friend his license back and he gave us his card and told us to go park "over there" and "air out the car" because the car was in my friends dads name.

See these are the cops that are good. I know a cop around me that would probably do something like this. But that is really sweet man.

Wow! That's really lucky dude, you should feel good that's all you got. Especially considering the fact that you were technically driving under the influence. If you had gotten a dick cop, you could've gotten license taken away, gone to jail, and even thousands in fines. You're really lucky actually. What state do you live in?

Thats crazy...and awesome. Ive never heard of a cop letting someone go, especially since they were gonna obviously drive high. Thats awesome though man!

That is far, far, far from the truth. This is proof that some cops are able to think for themselves and know these laws are ridiculous. Notice I said some, because it's a very small minority.

He got lucky, that rarely happens in the US, and I know it would never happen where I am.

Very true man. Basically its the cops who dont take their jobs ridiculously seriously. Some cops think they HAVE to bust everybody who's making a mistake, but the very few understand that its stupid to fuck up peoples life for little shit. One time my cousin when he was like 17, his friend left a quarter of purple kush sitting on a sink in one of the bathrooms in his house. My cousins dad found it and unknowlingly called the cops and they showed up in the living room and said "whos weed is this?" My cousins friend took the blame but the cop ending up just tossing the weed cause he said "I dont like locking people up for that little shit." So yes once in a blue moon you'll come across a cop who wont ruin your life so they can do their half ass job.

That reminds me of the scene from Up In Smoke when the cop pulls them over but he gets all high on his way to the window lol. Great luck for you guys you coulda gotten in big trouble lol.
