Hey all, as most of you can see this is my first post .

Little Background:

Im 19 Years old from Canada Ontario

Recently I got busted with some weed on me, about 8 g's.

when I got arrested the officer asked me if I had a previous record and if I was on probation.

I told him I did have a record for causing threats, and weapons dangerous and that I was on probation.

The probation consisted of: Not to have weapons on me & to stay about 100 meters away from a certin area.

He brought me back the office, took my picture, finger prints etc..

He also said that I breached my probation. What I'm thinking is how would I breach my probation because I never had Drug charge or anything to do with drugs on my record or part of my probation.

My friends said that everytime a probation is set there is a law that sais to Keep the peace, or something like that.

Now they are making me go to court 2 hours away ( i was in a different town where I got cought )..


My main question is would I need a lawyer to represent me because I "breached my probation" or is Duty council ( legal aid ) just as good.

I do not have the money to pay for a lawyer and I cant let my folks know I got busted because they dont even know I "toke"
