| Hi there, I hope that I talk with an intelligent man and I hope that you concider the next thigs. First, I know that it may sound naive, but shouldn't kids (at least above, to say 17-18 years, of course) learn by themselves whether they like (and can take) smoking weed or not. This age limit is not because of anything else but the fact that people still grow and gain strength by this time. So one mustn't bug his organism with stuff like that since it is young and weak. But, usually on that age people try new ways to entertain and there goes weed. Let us not forget also that they always become people with very good style, taste and deep understanding of everything. That is so true. (*) Now, you know that when someone learns something the hard way he is much more wise about that than if another told him and he just follows. Your mission is good, because you want to keep young people away from mistakes you made and know are bad. But they shouldn't be stoped from learning it on their own - one with greater experience about pot can share it in a conversation or ...whatever and that is quite enough, isn't it? About the guys who take advantage of users - I actually think that they make significantly more profits from hard potheads than the rest who are less in number and, of course buy and use much less marijuana, therefore dealers don't get more than 20-30% of their income from ocasional smokers, who if get fed up with weed one day - stop it. It always happens like this. So I don't see problem here, do you? Of course one can (and should) give a piece of advice whenever some dude can't realize that it's exactly pot which bugs him and/or his life, but seeks for the reason somewhere else. For example, you said you wish that forums existed by the time of your younger ages, so we obviously agree on that. Yet, you know so much about weed, and get so involved with trying to be of use to people who may need it not because of anything else but because you made it through yourself, that's what I mean. If you were to listen to the pieces of advice telling you that getting high is bad and never did this, like choosing the other way, you know, then I swear you wouldn't give a **** about this now. Just that part of your knowledge would be missing. And people who want to help, exactly like you would be 1 less. But if the opposite happens more often (teenagers be let decide, that is)this means that people like you will be more in the future and I think this is good. People who share what they have experienced with others who haven't yet, and most important - these mentioned second should take a decision for themselves. They would either become weed lovers (which is cool) or people like you (which is even better ), and so on, and so on.... This mechanism is the natural one, in this way things control themselves, without oppressive laws who produce people who don't care about that at all! Moreover, weed is never going to disappear as a social fact, so It's always better when those who do care are more, right? On how harmful marijuana is - tobacco smoking and drinking are much more, that's the truth. And pay attention to the statistics: teenagers who start smoking tobacco usually smoke 10 - 20 cigarettes a day; common size joint of relatively good weed contains tar and other bad **** equal to those of 3 cigarettes. Man, I don't know anyone who has started getting high with 3 - 7 joints a day! We all start with 1 - 2 joints per day, same in harm like 3 - 6 cigarettes. Which is worse then? And weed smokers, by showing newbies the difference between **** and quality weed actually do something good for their health, I'm sure of that. Just like with alcohol. By the way how many young people get killed in accidents being drunk - so damn many.... And those stoned - exeptions rather than common thing. These are the facts. If you agree with at least some of my thoughts It would be cool. P.S. As you have noticed I meant and only talked about weed since it is different from anything else. Drugs are bad stuff and I don't recommend them to anyone. (*) I will start a serious thread on this soon, please everyone don't take it from me Peace. dub_specialist |
