Here's the situation. I'm living at home with my dad. Today we had a little talk about marijuana, and overall he doesn't mind if I do it. But he does have one legitimate concern.

He works for the navy, and his job requires a top-secret security clearance. He said that a drug conviction would cause him to lose his security clearance, which would result in him losing his job. He's afraid that if for whatever reason I did get busted at home, it would fall back on him somehow. I told him that I did not think that was at all possible. But to be honest, I don't know for sure, which is why I'm posting this.

Is there any way my dad can be prosecuted in the state of california if I were to get busted for mere possession? (NOT with intent to sell--I don't deal-- and I wouldn't grow in my dad's house)

if you are under 18 then you are a minor, still living in your parents house and your parents are still somewhat responsible for what you do - to a certain extent.

they still cant hold someone responsible for a crime they didnt do. I.E his dad
