Exclamation Transporting a QP, Helpful tips or ideas?

Hi, i'm due to transport a QP across several cities. One of the cities is famous for making a large percentage by handing out speeding tickets. Now, I can avoid those cities (the only route ive ever been pulled over on), and take a longer route which is lighter on highway patrol, but it takes longer to get the **** home.

I'm confused. I have to choose either a short route which is more logically dangerous to take, or a longer route (US-101) which is typically busier, and less patrolled than the CA-126.

What do you guys think? 126 or 101? Do you have any tips to give me?

Obey the speed limits - I can't stress that enough. I hear story after story of people getting pulled over transporting weed just because they were going too fast. As long as you are a competent driver and manage to avoid getting hit by the countless incompetent drivers out there, you shouldn't have any encounters with the police. Best of luck to you. Peace, HN-

Agreed, keep your stuff together. Act calm, as if you have no weed in the car. In a worst case scenario, if you do get pulled over, just act natural, because you're only getting pulled over for a traffic violation. Stay CALM. I would put it in a very secure place in the car, maybe in a door panel or something. I've transported weed many times, I just don't even think about it. Just staaaaay caaaaaaalm. And yes, if you speed, you're an idiot. Get a radar detector!! These will save your life, I promise.

Oh, and don't smoke while in the car, and don't drive high. This is a stupid thing to do, very stupid. Make sure your car smells fresh, but not like air freshener, because a cop will get suspicious if he can smell flowers with your windows rolled up

Don't get a radar detector. It's simple. Just obey all traffic laws when you're transporting. That's a no-brainer!

I'd say take the more populated, longer route. Whenever I have to drive with weed in the car (like coming from my dealer to my home), I try to stick to major highways and avoid things like back roads or side streets. Or even regular streets.

When you're on a very busy road, like a major highway or an interstate (I usually take the interstate home), cops aren't going to pull you over without a reason, like excessive speed or tailgating. There's just too many cars on the road, that they have to pull over the dangerous ones because that's all they have time for.

Don't be an excitable idiot is the first piece of advice.

Avoiding busts has very little to do with knowing your rights, and very much to do with not making the cops suspicious. You can drive 90 mph down the highway smoking a blunt with ten pounds in the trunk as long as you can ensure the cop won't think "drugs" the second he sees your car (or smells the interior after lighting you up for speeding).

Keep the weed OUT OF SIGHT. Obviouse I know but it's worth mentioning anyway.
Sorry to re-iterate but
Speed limits obey them.
Drive in a calm and lawful manner.
Remember your not doing anything wrong (just illegal) so the Karama is heaped nicely on your side.
Take some nice chill tunes (but turn them off if you get stopped)
Don't give the cop permision to search your car. Unless they see something which prompts a search no charges will stick if they do search the car. Just stick to it and tell them they can't search even if they say **** like "what are you hidding" or whatever. Stick to your guns, they are trained to intimidate you in this fasion. Be firm. Not all cops are jerks but we're talking worst case scenario here.
That would be my advice.
Oh and above all
DON'T PANIC

Default Drive like your grandmother.

My vote would be for the 126, and just don't speed! That little town known for tickets, for others, is Fillmore. Alternatively the 118 is cool, too. But the 101 through the Valley is a freaking parking lot - worst freeway in LA. Bigger chance of problems sitting in stop-and-go traffic than using those alternative routes.

I personally would not spend an extra moment on the trip - straight to the destination; don't stop along the way for gas, food, to take a leak or visit friends. Get to where your going and be done with it.

Dont consume any of it before or durng the trip

Make sure the car is in excellent mechanical shape, tires filled, bulbs all work, clean inside and out, all paperwork handy and current, dress like a clean cut nerd, pack the trunk full of innocuous stuff with your cargo buried deep.
