Is it safe for me to buy books about growing off of amazon.com? is there anyway i could get in trouble for recieving/possesing the books even if i don't plan on growing? thanks.

Information is not illegal in the US. Although government agencies can find out that you ordered such a book by buying information from your credit card company, there is no law against possessing such a book.

It is your first amendment right to posess such a book. The government might keep a closer eye on you, but there is nothing they can do if you don't grow any.

If Paladin Press can sell you books on how to convert your semi-automatic rifle into a fully automatic one or how to build a bomb, I doubt a book on growing would create too much uproar.

Why bother with a book on growing? You can find all of the information you need right here on the internet. Check out the Marijuana.Com area on the subject or do a search on your favorite engine for "Marijuana Cultivation".

I'm not against books, it is just that if you're concerned about your privacy (and need to conserve $$) then use the World Wide Library.
