taking over the border

Hey, normally in the summer me and my family goto a vacation in the US, I've always thouhgt about bringing like 3-4 grams with me, but i've always been really scared. If taking a car, do they normally have those drug sniffing dogs at the boarder? Would they even be able to catch such a small ammount, in a hidden place? And if we flew, would they be able to catch it if I had it in like my pocket or something? and what would the charges be like of geting caught (i only have a canadian citizinship) Would I get charged by the US for trying to take it in, or by canada?

Yes. I would discourage anyone from trying to bring marijuana into the US. The border is a very paranoid place these days.

You would be charged with possession under US federal law. This carries up to a one year incarceration and a USD$1000 fine. There might be additional charges for importing into the US.

Back in Feb, i took a trip to Jamaica with my family... The weed there is AMAZING

!!!! and its cheap as dirt cuz its so common to find... but anyway, I met some people there also vacationing and we got like 5 grams for 5$... we smoked most of it but had probably around 1 gram or 2 left, I was thinking of taking it back with me, but i was paranoid... I was also going to bring a pipe back, but i was even paranoid about that.... cuz im under age, and im carrying tobacco related (well thats what there intended for

)... So i just ended up leaving the rest with one of the kids i met there... Not sure if he smoked it all before he left, as i havent talked to him since....
