|  Caught in School..ALOT of Stuff, Please look. Hello. I am currently an 8th grade student. On Friday the 13th, I was caught possesing about 1.5 grams of marijuana. Police were notified, and I've been suspended from school 5 days. The thing my parents are worried about is my citizenship. I am from Korea, and am not legally a U.S citizen yet(about 2 more years to go) Will this bust affect my citizenship?Could I be deported? What steps should my parents take to insure I can stay in this country, and keep this bust somewhat off the records? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

| thatshotchronic.....what he means by "a lot of stuff" has nothing to do with the amount he was caught with. What he was referring to is that his situation includes "a lot of stuff" that wouldnt be a concern for the average person.....like deportation. Also, why on earth would being 18 be a GOOD thing in this situation? As a juvinile, this won't stay on his permenent record most likely, whereas if he WAS 18, this charge could potentially haunt him his entire life. By the way, please tell me your name has nothing to do with Paris' hiltons known line..." Thats Hot!" |

|  If You Are In 8th Grade You shouldn't be smoking pot or even posting here. We don't give advice on deceiving parents either.

| I agree that the person is underaged, but....he isn't asking for help decieving his parents. He alreaady said his parents were aware of the situation. he was simply asking if this could lead to his deportation. Nothing was said about sneaking anything by Mom and Dad. |
