Hey, I'm 18 and I live in Vermont. At the end of July I was cited for marijuana possesion, I am suppose to go to court on Tuesday Sept. 8th and I am curious what kind of fine etc. I will get. OH yea and by the way, three days before my court date I got another citation. So I am basicly ****ed now. Please anyone that knows anything please help.

I'm not sure what the laws are like in Vermont, but in Ohio possesion is a $100 fine. I got busted for possesion and paraphenalia in OH and was surprised to learn that paraphenalia has a greater fine($250) than possesion. I was able to talk it down to drug abuse(what the hell does that mean?) under a city code. I was on the highway when I got busted and so it wasn't in the city which means I would have also lost my license for 6 months. But I avoided that by waiting till the judge that wouldn't let me bring it down to a city code went on vacation. I believe the NORML homepage has laws state by state.
