Hey what's up, anyways I love to give people advise I am just that kinda person. So here is my advise to you... Okay for one thing you are on probation now right.. right... and its not because of a drug charge. Well my guess would be that you cant get drug tested.. What I am trying to say is that because you didnt get on probation for drugs well then you probable wont get drug tested, that would kinda be like getting in trouble for something you didnt do.. Am I right... But just to be on the safe side i would be clean for your first probation meeting and see what he our she says but dont mention getting drug tested cause then they will wonder and watch you more... But if you are clean for your first piss test if they happen to give you one for whatever reason at all then they wont think nothing if your clean..
some advise you cant get in trouble (like go to jail) for smoking it and having it in your system, but you can get in trouble for having it in your possesion..
P.S I would stay on the safe side I mean even though you say your gonna quite, our you have quite, once someone hands you some and say light it up I bet you will do it....

It's great that you are "that kinda person," and all, but if you do not have any knowledge or experience with what you are giving advice about, you are likely to do more harm than good.

MiamiBoy, when you are put on probation or parole, your PPO can put any terms in the probation or parole agreement that they want to. This includes random drug screening, and yes, even if the original offense wasn't drug related. CIPHER420 already showed you that it is possible, as the terms of his probation included random drug screening, even though his original charge was not drug related.

Also, to give you an analogous sitution, when I arrest somebody, the bail commissioner (or court, depending on who is setting bail) is allowed to put any terms or conditions of bail that they want to. No matter what I arrest somebody for (i.e. even when it is not for a drug/alcohol related offense), I always request the condition that the person out on bail not use excessive amounts of alcohol or any controlled drugs. So far, that condition has always been granted.

Sometimes a lawyer will work agaisnt you espcieally in unique personal circumstances. I think that is crazy. Since when is justice for sale!

Every case is different, if your charge was a Felony, you better be prepared for drug screens, because I have NEVER seen anyone with a felony that doesnt get U.A.'s. I was in the system for 10 years of my life and I have seen hundreds of cases, and ALL of the ones that had felonies got U.A.'s. Now misdemeanors is a different story, I have seen both. Some get tested some dont. Anyways, 30 days should be plenty of time to be clean, are you asking this because you're thinking of smoking? Its hard not too, but its tooo risky. Good Luck

heres the update guys...

Yesterday (7/13), i went to court and was sentenced to 2 years probation with an early release after 18 months, just as planned.When i got out of court i had to report to my probation officer. Unfortunately, he wasnt there, so i didnt get to meet him to see if he's an ass or not, some other woman probationer checked me in and went over the initial paper work and all that with me. She advised me that within 48hrs i had to report to the police station to register myself as a criminal and report back to the PO on friday with the paper proving that i did in fact register. She DID NOT DRUG TEST ME yesterday, although i am a little nervous about meeting my real PO tomorrow and the possibility of him testing me. I will take a home test tonight, and if its still rough i will dilute. As of today i am 32 days clean. The problem is is that i used to smoke so damn much, so im sure im looking at over 30 days to clean up. I hope its not 90 er anything outrageous like that. I cant wait to be naturally clean, then i will have absolutely nothing to worry about.

And no.....its really not that serious to have a little self control and abstain....i will not smoke pot while on probation!

So thats the update. Hopefully my meeting tomorrow goes nice and quick; i turn in that form, ask my PO a couple newbie questions and be out and not have to deal with his ass for a while.....wish me luck fellas.....
