You might want to fix the typo in this sentence of your essay:


One "because" would be plenty.

Your argument is certainly reasonable but I strongly doubt that anyone could convince the courts that fields of marijuana plants should be stemmed, cleaned, and cured in order to determine the weight of the salable product.

One thing in your essay kind of made me chuckle.......when you said you didn't think the legislatures intent was to use the wet weight.

I think the legislatures intent was for you not to possess pot in the first place, don't you?

True, perhaps a better way to say it would be, "I don't think when the appropriate sentences were determined for each weight that they were deciding what was appropriate based on wet weight." or something
