Once or twice a year Paul Harvey would mention that " Legalizing marijuana and taxing it like tobbaco, the US would be debt free in less than 5 years".
It would also put the real problem drugs, ( meth, crack, acid, heroin), out to dry. The dealers would be easier to find, and the world would actually see how this herb can help. In stead of lobbist who will continue to spread bad press.
Just wondering, how many of you guys that have smoked Pot for more than 2 years have "lactating breasts", or "at least a B cup"?
The MROs and some doctors who receive drug kick backs, are telling people in rehab or teenage boys, that all these new strains are causing men to grow breasts and even lactate!!
Sorry, after 30 yrs. of encounters, and the dozen or so 20 year vets I have hung out with, still no play things! Never even had one drip on me.
Just another scare tactic by the drug companies to put everyone in a panic about this herb, oops..... I mean drug!

That's crazy! I live in BC and apparently (according to the DEA) our bud is the most potent. I honestly don't believe that. In principle, there is good weed, and there is bad weed. We just make a lot and a lot of it goes to the U.S.

So, assuming the ever graceful D.E.A. is right (since they have something like an $11 billion budget, and should know the facts with that kind of money), that would mean there'd be a lot of British Columbian man boobs!

Perhaps there are in places of BC I haven't been to, as it's a fairly large province!

So, I know though that man boobs are a very real thing. What causes them though? THC? Because that's the claim; marijuana is more potent nowadays. That's assuming that potency to them means what it means to me, and that's the THC content.

Maybe... growers are using estrogen while growing somehow! Yeah, maybe they want people to grow man boobs so less people will buy their product!! Yeah, that's it! Why not?

Wait a minute! I've been duped! Because maybe it's the same tactic the U.S. government has used for decades; propaganda! But how else do you decieve your citizens into thinking your way? I mean, come on, you try their job!! Because they don't get paid enough to put up with our "freedoms"

As far as legal pot and collecting taxes on its distribution.....yeah, they would but they would still lose a lot of potential tax revenue to those who WOULD still continue to grow their own. MANY people CAN become ADDICTED to GROWING pot! Its FUN to watch those plants grow, mature and ripen so I'm sure a LOT of people would still wish to grow their own despite legalization and mass-marketing of it like alcohol. The ONLY true way they could discourage people from growing their own, WOULD be to bring the prices WAY down from what they are on the black market and make sure it's readily available EVERYWHERE and with many various strains available at a cheap price......otherwise, yeah....the govt. WOULD continue to have a LOT of tax evading citizens who would rather take their chances and grow their own gardens.

As for the man boobs thing, my drugs and behavior professor told me the same story. He said men were reported being admitted to the hospital after they had started to develop some breast tissue. Apparently THC causes your testoserone levels to plummet, and in the case of chronic users their testoserone levels are always down bc they're always high. With the testoserone so low, males then begin to develop features caused by estrogen, which is unaffected by THC. Scary!

If you restrict it to the estimated 15,000,000 marijuana users in the US, it comes to around $333,000 for each user, or more than $66,000 per person per year.

Paul Harvey must be "arithmetically challenged".

Could we get back on-topic? Besides having nothing to do with the issue of taxation, the supposed sexual side effects of smoking marijuana are a myth that has long been debunked. There is no difference in hormone levels between smokers and non-smokers. Myth #6
