For the record, it was never that I felt you required any benefit of my assistance, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to pseudo-police the police. I shall now humbly return to what I do, just as soon as I figure out exactly what it is I do .

I like having cops around, they give me something to aim at ... ummm, with arguments, that is.

PS This is why I could never be a moderator, because I need to be moderated myself . I do tend to be a pain ... but I'm cute (so I'm told).

For the record, I knew exactly why you had done it. I attempted to use humor to lighten the weight of my "reprimand" and apparently failed. For that, I apologize.

However this does not diminish the fact that your intervening in the manner you did further degraded this thread into a "he started it" mentality. You baited him, plain and simple

Now...all of that being said, I am afraid that I honestly see no reason to keep this thread open. The original question and topic has been so long lost it isn't even on the map anymore.

If there are any real objections to my closing this feel free to make your case to me through email. Quite frankly though I can't see how allowing this to continue benefits anyone.
