i checked norml regarding the laws on cannabis in alaska.. this is what i found

if 4 oz is alright in your home, 8 oz being a misdemeanor, and 24 plants or less is legal.. doesn't that contradict itself? 24 plants is a lot more than 4 or 8 oz. can someone clarify this? thanks again.

24 live plants is OK. More than four ounces of dried and cured bud is not. In reality, as long as you keep it at home you haven't got much to worry about. If you don't give the cops any reason to believe you're dealing they have no reason to investigate.

Too bad its night/day for like six months at a time there and its cold...we need those kinda laws in cali or Florida, places that I actually want to live in.

If marijuana is that important to you (and you don't use it for medicinal reasons) I think you should probably chill out...

Not that I wouldn't mind living somewhere where I could grow 24 plants at a time or anything, just sayin'.
