My girlfriend recently had a note she was passing to a friend taken by a teacher. THe only bad stuff it said was that she ditched the day before and got high. She brought a note from her saying she was home sick that day, and my parents belive that story, too, because I told them i ditched to check on her. I'm pretty sure she can pass a drug test, and she never has anything on her to be found (or at home). Is there anything they can do? Can they call her mom? So far she says she was just being sarcastic in the note about where she was on her sick day. Please help!

I doubt there is anything they can do other than keep an eye on her and wait for her to slip up, so to speak. They didn't find anything on her, and if you say that they wouldn't find anything at any time she should be cool. Is the school threatening some disciplinary action? They might be able to get her for ditching, but still if she had a real note from her mom, then there is nothing they can do, except maybe call her mom to see if the absence was excused. And they would probably mention the note that the teacher found.

Seriously dude you might not know that much about law and what people can and can't do to you, but who cares if she passed a note? Not trying to be mean, but um, maybe if I can elaborate:

WEED! WEED WEED WEED I SMOKE WEED POT HERB GREENS DOPE DRUGS GANJA MARIJUANA IT'S WHAT I'M FOND OF. I SKIP SCHOOL TO GET HIGH BECAUSE SCHOOL SUCKS AND BEING HIGH RULES I ACTUALLY DID IT YESTERDAY JUST WALKED RIGHT ON OUT OF SCHOOL AND LIT UP A BLUNT.

See. Nothing happened to me. I'm still here. And I'm not suspended. No matter who see's that, nothing bad will happen to me. In fact I tell my teachers that I smoke weed. They know I smoke weed. I go right up to them and say "I can't wait to get out of school, I'm gonna go home and smoke a bowl." and if they don't say "Right on!" they usually just shake there heads and say "You're wasting your life." Like I care what those stupid ****s think. Your girlfriend will be fine, she won't get in trouble. If they say anything tell her to say that she was writing a fictional note for fun. Freedom of speech buddy. No matter where you are in this country it's still there. Our other ammendments get trashed like the fourth, and the fifth, but that first one is very hard to get past. Remember to tell her not to carry anything on her though, because schools can search you at a whim. Peace man take it easy, and tell your teachers the next time you smoke up.

Hmmm, I understand now about the obvious answer. I just get mad when I see that the man has people under his grip, thinking that the man can do anything, and is all powerful. Sorry.

However I don't understand what you mean by "get picked up by the powers that be." It's the get picked up part I don't understand. What are they going to do when they pick me up? Are they going to carry me somewhere? Maybe it's my ignorance. Please explain.

P.S. I resent the term teenager, even though that is what I am, it makes it sound like my beliefs are a result of my age. I find that insulting and presumptious(sc?).

Pulled out of class, sent to the principal, have your parents called by your guidance counselor, be drug tested, sent to a psychologist, be sent to drug rehabilitation or brought to the police.

Someone who is the dynamic state of physical and psychological growth preciptated by the hormonal changes of puberty. One who is development between childhood and adulthood.

Your beliefs are valid however they are based on limited experience and knowledge which can only be corrected by time and continued input of information and continued experience. It has to do with the perspective of decades versus the perspective of years.
