well, i found a message on my machine from the youth services from our town. I guess an appointment has been set up for my mom and I to come in and talk. We have some family trouble and also she found out I smoke pot. She use to do it to and that pisses me off. So what is going to happen to me? Should I quit incase I'm ever drug tested. I don't usually carry it on me. I'm a good student and use marijuana to my advantage. It just pisses me off that my parents drink all night and if I smoke up once they are all mad about it.

Also, if this guidance counselor starts asking me questions about why I smoke pot this and that, do I have to even talk to her about it? Just because it might be in my system from left over, will I be in big trouble here? Thanks.

I don't think you can get into any legal trouble, if thats what your asking. I believe counselors fall under the same patient confidentiality that medical doctors do.

I don't think you have to talk about anything if you choose not to, but I don't see how it would affect anything if you did. Your parents already know, the counselor won't call the cops. There is no way to get busted here. I'm sure you have personal reasons for not wanting to talk about why you started smoking and other things like that, but you never know. It might help things. It could help your parents realize that you're being responsible. And also that they are not bad parents because you smoke. The only thing I would watch out for is if the counselor tries to turn you into the bad guy, which I have heard of happening in rare cases, just because you decide to smoke. But if you're on this site I would think you'd be well informed.
