My friend told me that in BC the law against cannabis is super lax and that they even have their own "red light district" with coffee shops, sort of like Amsterdam. I think he doesn't know what he's talking about and I don't believe him at all, and I was just wondering if what he said was true or not.

this subject has been covered a million times already. My most common answer would be to use the search engine, but in this case you wouldn't even have to do that. About a whole 3 or 4 posts down from here there is a post called "Bud and Canada" that may have what you are looking for....if not, search. This topic comes up several times a month. You'll likely find hundreds of posts if you take the time to look.

Actually that post doesn't say anything about my question pertaining to BC, It is about Canada in general and there is no mention of coffee shops or red light districts. I'm also specifically asking about BC, but yes perhaps i should have searched for it, since it's such a hassle to you.
