doob tubes, as my friends and i call them are the cheap low-down way of covering up the smell, but at least some sort of ventalation is recommended so as to blow the smoke out through it.

heres how to make one:

take a toliet paper roll that has been used up (ie; just the cardboard leftover part of it) and stuff some fabric softener sheets in it (i usually put 2-3 inside). next get some rubberbands or like material and take one last sheet and fold it to about a quarter of its full size. place it over one end (not stuffing it inside the tube, but on top of the tube) and put the rubberbands around it to hold it on there.

you now have your *doob tube*. use while exhaling, preferably throgh i cracked window or door. enjoy!

also, i personally have always used incense even at times when im not smoking i burn incense, so if the people you live with get used to you using incense, it might not come across as so suspicious.

just get a clear tube and stick out the corner of your window, and when you smoke just blow it out the tube.

Take a fan and point it out of the window. Then blow the smoke out the e back of the fan. It sort of acts like a vacuum.

Bathroom.

Bathrooms are made with materials that do not carry smell (it would get gross if they did)

While tokin have the fan on and leave it on and the door half open. For most kinds of bud the smell will be gone within 15 minutes. you can speed the proccess by taking a towel and fanning the air a bunch of times.

use an ionizer filter. that is the best. it sends a shock of electricity through the air and that causes the particles to stick to a filter.

It also turns oxygen in the air to O3 (ozone) which gives a fresh smell, like after a lightning storm. (same thing, electricity through the air)

it should work great. if not that than a HEPA filter would be second best.

The toilet paper roll or breathing it into a pillow or a bed mattress works pretty good, it traps the smoke in the fabric. But it will leave lip shaped light resin stains on the covers.

i know this has to do with getting smell out of your room out of smoking but if you have a pipe and some weed, you can take a sheet of aluminum foil and rap it around the two. it doesnt take away the smell completely, but u have to get realy close to be able to smell it. trust me, i know from experience

if your smoking a joint in the house, the hotbox will keep burning the pot and if your using the paper towel roll method, then you wont get rid of ALL the smell.. so just toke it in a pipe and but your lighter over the bowl to put it out, because this is an easy mistake to make, it got my friend caught a couple times, took him a while to figure it out
