... last yr i went to the dnc(democratic national convention) in los angeles to volunteer w/ my mother (whose very political & also smokes)
so anywho, i get called to volunteer with some people at the Los Angeles Airport (greeting ambassadors...it was pretty lame...) & i get all excited and decide to take some cheeba with me, a whole 8th, like a fool.
so i dont know what i was thinking really.... but i had to go through the security check and everything (i got high before i left the hotel room cuz my mother was long gone, she didnt know i smoked at the time)
so i find out i have to go through security check and i freak out but not noticeably or anything... i had all of my stuff in this plastic chococat container i got from the hello kitty store, it was awesome though cuz they(security, etc...) were none the wiser! i guess i was lucky.(?)
but then i made another mistake by smoking up in the bathroom at the airport... i dont know why i did it, but i did.... i had fun , no regrets... who knows if i'll do that again, probably not! or i just wont be so stupid next time.

I find the biggest problem/limitation is actually the baggy the weed is in. The plastic(whatever) on the outside of a cigarette box can actually hold a pretty decent amount if packed in well. Another thing in *most* bluejeans/pants the uppermost lefthand corner actually goes farther towards the zipper/button than most people realize.
Plus, if it came down to it (and sometimes it does) eating the wrapper of a box of smokes for a 1/4sack is easier than eating a ziplock baggy. Now if your the kind of person who ONLY carries around quarter pounds and what not then by all means keep using the larger bags, but if not perhaps reconsider your methods of storeage.

Even better then taping it on your 'crotch'... Glue it inside you a$$ cracks... cop stuck his hand in my ass crack i'd be frightened.

I've been patted down many times, just for walking down the street... They usually only empty your pockets and rub your legs a little, they don't do it well enough to feel a little baggie.

If it's cold out and you wear those wool hat thingies (The big piece of cotton or whatever it is where you fold the bottom up so it looks cool) then stick it in the fold...
(no one has any idea what kinda hats i'm talking about... i can't remember then name, i'll re-check this when i'm sober, maybe it will come to me then)

About concerts, I guess it's just living out on the west coast, but none of the venues I go to care about weed. Pat downs are standard but they're looking for weapons not weed. I've hat security guards pat my pipe and not say anything.

About cops, legally they can only do a pat down search unless there is probable cause, it depends on the state, in California it has to be in plain sight. The cops CANNOT pat your crotch, if they do, go for the sexual harrassment stuff.

It depends on the venue, some places are strict, others are not. When seeing the Allman Brothers at Polaris Amptheatre in Columbus, OH, my friend's backpack was very throroughly searched. When seeing Phish at the same venue, I was patted down, the bag of herb in my pocket was ignored. The pipe which I had hidden in my hat was found, but the guy was cool and let me keep it, which was odd because I later found out this guy was head of secruity and would normally have confiscated it.

Smaller places, like the Newport Music Hall won't search you, but if they catch you smoking they'll kick you out, so you have to be real careful. And there's a lot of secruity who walk around. Fortunately, they where bright blue shirts so they're easy to spot.

This thread reminds me of a story..
A little while back a few friends of mine got pulled over..
they were of course smokin and had a glass pipe on them..
well there was a chick in the car also and shes pretty hot..
anyway..
they get pulled over and she sticks the pipe and a sack in her panties...
they got off the hook and didn't get busted ..
later that day..
they decide to smoke and there were some other people there one of them being another chick..
and she hears the story of what happened and refuses to smoke out of a pipe that was next to any chicks .. well you know.... even though they did wash the pipe..
long story short...(yea i know too late).... the other girl didn't smoke and the guys never objected....
