I'm sure it would work as to not getting the smell in your room, but the towel would definitely smell like it. The same way bong water gets all nasty just from smoke going through it, you'd have that kind of water on your towel.

Best thing you can do is blow it out the window. Try yoru idea but do it close to a window. The more fresh air, the better.

Hey new guy here I was just curious about anyone elses ways to sneak a hit in places they shouldnt.
Personally I made a chapstick piece. I emptied out a tube of SoftLips chapstick (this kind comes in a longer thinner tube which is good). With some force the bottom can be pulled out and the cranks and everything can be stripped out. The bottom can then pop back on and off. At the top I glued in a little steel bowl from a pen so it hits like a bat/chillum.
It's nice because you can pack a bowl and put the cap on so it wont fall out or anything like that and slip the tube of chapstick into your pocket. When you get the chance, you just pull off the base and cap and hit it. Everyone's always borrowing it at school to hit in the bathrooms or dark room in photo.
Even in a search you probably won't get caught with it unless the cops have chapped lips.
I'll post pictures of it soon. Anyone else use anything like this?

That thread is not what I was wondering about. Completely off subject. I read through this forum before posting my topic to make sure I couldnt see it anywhere else. I wanted to know about camouflaged pieces, not toweling my bedroom door.

Had a blunt in my upstairs last night. Getting rid of the weed smell was pretty easy, but that tobacco smell lingered on for hours... I guess this could be an advantage for some people surrounded by those who tolerate tobacco but not cannabis.

well i hide my stuff in a desk drawer inside old video game boxes. i made an "invention," which is just a travel shampoo bottle with abunch of little holes in the end, than i stuffed that full of shredded tissue and shredded fabric softner. the tissue collects the smoke, so when you blow into it, no smoke exits, the fabric softners are incase smoke small ammounts do happen to excape, it masks the smell. i just sit there smokin away in my room, and no one ever knows a thing
