Quite true, the smell from a vaporizer diminishes MUCH faster than that of smoking it. Line the bottom of your door and use a vape and you should never have problems with someone outside smelling it. (Unless someone opens your door while your vaping)

Use a bounty hooter. Throw a whole bunch of bounty sheets in a plastic bottle and poke some holes at the end. Pack one hooters into you're paraphernalia of choice and exhale all your smoke into the bottle. The smoke comes out smelling wonderful.

You can make better ones with like a toilet paper roll packed with bounty sheets and taped onto the top of the bottle. One that I have seen several people use is the bottle technique but with a hose attached to the bottom of the bottle. Then they hang the hose out a window and bam the smoke goes right out the window smelling good as fack.

if your on an upper floor i suggest you open a window with a fan pointing outwards. it helps. the higher up the better. I don't suggest this if on the first 2 floors.

better yet just move off campus and into an apartment, everyone smokes there. bigger the collage the less hassle from the cops as long as your minding your own business

The best way to hide things is in plain sight. I personally prefer inside computer cases or speaker cabinets. No one is going to find anything easily or if they are suspicious of things no one is going to take the time to unscrew shit to find stuff. Also get out an old Playstation 2 and use the rear expansion port. An old dresser with a ton of electronics and wires in it with the bud in the PS2 is golden. How many people even know a PS2 has that- also it's getting to be an ancient system now . Also another way to hide in plain sight if you have a bookshelf is just hollow out a book. This can be done easily with a little glue and a razor blade. Basically you don't want to hide things, you want to conceal them in plain sight. If you think enough about it it's easy. Also if you have tiles on your bathroom ceiling pop up a tile and hide it up there. Even if someone is actively searching for something it may not be found if it's hidden in plain sight as there is no suspicion of it being there. Also I have seen headshops selling stealth cans but they are pricey. It doesn't seem too hard to make one of these yourself.

As far as the smell you're gonna have to have vacuumed ventilation or close to this. Also, as far as masking the smell I don't know why people are so concerned. There is plenty of reasons why you would want an area to smell good. "My girlfriend said my room smells like ass" "I farted" "I was hot and sweaty and needed something to survive my own smell" There are a million reasons. However if you're flagged and there is suspicion of use people will assume you are masking the smell. So to counter this, you mask the smell of the area when you're not smoking. Also spoofs are the greatest. My buddy had his mom walk right in after he blew out thru a spoof but it didn't smell like bud it smelled like mountain fresh. But the best way to get past any security system or anti-deviance measures is thru the human heart. Then it just becomes oh uh you should probably cover that up your room smells like illegal narcotics instead of "OMG were you smoking weed in here???" In an emergency light up a cigarette. That pungent smell is great but won't save your life. I'd rather get hit for tobacco and say sorry I won't do it again then get popped for the smell of bud. Peace.

I just wanted to add that I have heard of people (on a few occasions now actually) successfully covering the smell of bud with cigarettes after getting pulled over after having just smoked a bowl. Not hot boxing the car, but smoking while driving with the windows open and vents going. A drink or something to cover the breath, a good smelling person, and a cigarette and you should be in a good position. They won't save your life but the smell is pungent. Preferably non-light cigarettes as they have thicker smoke.

As far as what device to use when trying to be stealthy your best bet is gonna be a bowl or a one hitter because because they don't give off a ton of excess smoke like a J. In car tho, a glass bowl is very noticeable to law enforcement as opposed to a J.

Also I don't really support toking while driving because you can usually smoke at the place your going to and your risking getting popped for DUID or OVID depending on your area in addition to having your stuff confiscated and other legal penalties. Just wait the next 10 minutes till you get where your going. I could see wanting to smoke on a road trip tho. Happy toking and don't get caught.
