OK, so I got busted by my hall RAs (aka. the Man, on campus), even though I had a towel under the door, and was using a bounce tube (toilet paper roll with fabric softener in it and rubberbanded to one side), the fan was on, and my incense was burning by the door. Does anyone know of any other techniques for getting rid of the smell without too much complication? Would I be better off with a vaporizer? Any suggestions?

Maybe you shouldn't light incense when you smoke. You should definitley open a window, and if you can't, find a place where you can. Light your incense when you're done smoking, so that way, if someone comes in, they wont see you smoking and it will smell good. Ohh, and definitley keep the fan on.

I appreciate the response, but I have a feeling that if they came in while I was smoking WITHOUT incense burning, not only would I probably be caught red handed, but my room would also smell distinctly of pot, with no covering smell. There's no mistaking the smell of the herb, I'm afraid. I don't know though, I'll try your method and see if it works better first. Thanks for the post.

Have you tried using one of those brass pipes which has a threaded cap on the bowl? Light that sucker, draw off it, then quickly cap it tightly until the next hit. Be sure to hold the hit in well so a minimal amount of exhaled smoke escapes into the air.

Also, try one of those "hi-end" air fresheners, like you find at candle shops. These air fresheners come in small metal cans and pack a lot of scent to one small shot on the nozzle. These are better than the widely distributed "retail" store air fresheners and don't smell as obvious — like you're trying to mask something.

Easy. Fairly smokeless (blow out your bounce tube, you should be fine). Efficient for smoking, easy to clean, portable.

In most cases you will not be pat searched under the crotch. Guys, between the scrotum and spincture. Girls... well you get the picture.You should be able to tape a J or 2 there but besure to shave it first. Even during a strip search, it can be well hidden there. If your lucky you'll be able to catch a buzz while waiting for your turn in front of Lady Justice.
