Ya! No doubt!!

The laws prohibiting marijuana are pretty foolish! They were obviously created by people who have never smoked the herb themselves. Not only that, the economics of prohibition do not work.

The space program has a $6 Billion budget shortfall. Why not spend tax dollars on something useful like that instead of pointless drug prohibition.

Oh, but that would be too easy, wouldn't it?

A study of marijuana smokers, tobacco smokers, smokers of both, and non-smokers had very interesting results. The marijuana smokers had a lower incidence of lung cancer than the non-smokers! People who smoked both had a lower incidence of lung cancer than people who smoked only tobacco.

Very good remark buzzby and everyone should listen to it. Yet I do have to say any smoke entering the body is not normal. It may not cause cancer but I bet there is some slight side effect for it. I come from a long line of cancer in the family and most of my uncles and aunts have dies from it. Yet, my mother who has smoked since she was 15 or 16 never had a problem and my uncle who has smoked for as long has also never had a problem. So possibly that is evidence of lower forms of cancer.
Yet when it comes to making marijuana legal, they can't tax it. People can grow it too easy for it to be legal. I have always believed it should be legal but then u would notice a problem with crime lords who make a lot of money from marijuana being illegal. Also other countries that import it would go through problems. Like I said I think it should be legal but it won't be until we realize that amsterdamn after legalizing drugs and prostitution has had lower crime rates than us. It evaporates a lot of crime but also kills a lot of money made on the streets. A lot of kids growing up poor would not make it out of the ghetto with any money which is another effect of legalization.

i agree, if they would just legalize it and sell joints by the packs at a cheaper price than the street market and put an age restriction on it, it would help are economy, seeing as more people would probably try it because it's legal.

This is something that people not educated on the subject are very confused about. As is the OP. The probable truth in this case is suprising and contrary to conventional wisdom (like almost everything about marijuana).

I think that, scientifically, you are right about this Buzzby, though I am more skeptical about the claim that marijuana prevents cancer. However, it certainly does not cause it at nearly the same rate as tobacco. I think the main difference is that marijuana contains lots of resin which is metabolizable within the lungs while tobacco contains lots of tar which is not as metabolizable and therefore will build up over time causing major lung damage.

Just look at a well-used bong, the black stuff inside is resin which is chemically different than tar. While marijuana certainly contains some tar, it seems to contain much more resin than tar, especially compared to tobacco. Only a scientific experiment where the chemicals were compared with spectroscopy will be able to determine the truth.

Also, smoking marijuana with a vaporizer, which we will all be doing once marijuana becomes legal and we can afford them, takes away the problem of breathing smoke (which I like anyway) altogether.

No one has said that everyone who smokes cigarettes gets lung cancer. 400,000 Americans die every year from the long-term effects of smoking cigarettes: cancers, emphysema, COPD. My father died from COPD. He smoked from age 14 until they put him on oxygen.

People can grow their own tobacco and make their own wine and beer. Few do. It's more convenient to pay the taxes.

Neither tobacco nor marijuana contain tar. Tar is a byproduct of incomplete combustion. Both produce tar.

Cannabis resin is a tan or brown substance with a pleasant smell. The black stinky stuff left in pipes and roaches is tar, consisting of complex hydrocarbons and a little resin.

Why wait? A good convection vaporizer costs less than an ounce of weed. Besides being better for your health, it stretches your stash 2:1, paying for itself in the first ounce you vape.

see this is what gets me confused by you. you kind of contradict what you say in your above post, first you say smoking marijuana doesnt cause cancer and then you say you only vape now. or maybe it is that you get more out of your weed that way and if thats the reason sorry for even questioning you. and if there is another reason your hiding i want to know
thanks again
