Anyody know what's going on in Canada -- I thought it was supposed to be legal by now. Also, kind of funny (and kind of creepy) new article on whether you admit you smoke (do you?). Not sure of the full URL, but it's at subversiveminds.com/rant/

| Canada has a new conservative government. One of the first things it did was shut down several cannabis sites owned by seed companies.

Thank god we have a new gov't. I don't ****ing care if it's legal or not. No skin of my nose. I grow and I smoke a J on the street now and then. If we have to impose a few harsh laws on dope to ensure real criminals stay in jail, then by all means, all the power to the guy ![]()

good call mate. weed being illegal creates a love/hate mutual relationship between growers and cops. the growers need it to be illegal to make a huge profit and the gov't need it to be illegal to expand the developing police state. I don't want it legal becuase I have a decent idea of how our country works. I know if it's legal it will be taxed like booze, smokes or gasoline and the money will be wasted by our House of Commons on **** like the gun registry or the subs we bought from the brits. If our gov't wants to legalize ths stuff then by all means go ahead but let it exist as a true free market economy not some communist controlled resource.

prices have actually been declining since the election...for example...i used to pay 55 in the summer for a quarter of nice M39 Hydro, now i pay 45...i get bomb hash for dirt cheap...i get exotics for pretty cheap...ever since the conservatives have been in power, the prices of weed have been declining (at least in ottawa, anyway)...its wierd...but i hope they stay in power...i was ****ing paying 55-60$ for a q while the liberals were in power.
