Default benifits of keeping weed illegal

i know all the benifits of making weed leagal smoke and buy out in the open not have to worry about being harrassed by cops all the time of course ive heard it all but this is my personal opnion and maybe im wrong but keeping weed illegal is good in many ways i think some of the fun and excitement of getting high growing and being around mj is the possibility of getting caught its like having sex in a public place for some people thats a huge turn on and i think its the same with weed also i believe in the US at least if they made weed legal they would put all kinds of restrictions on it age limit taxes etc. it would also be as expensive as hell and i think that they would only legalize shwag or dirt weed and the good shit dro hydro kb all the stuff you really enjoy would remain unaccessable to the public should weed be legal i dont think its a good idea decriminalized yes like it is in canada i would like your feed back on this once again this is my opnion and i may be wrong if so please correct me

Yeah? Why's that?

"In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then?"

Yeah, the 750,000 Americans who get arrested each year for weed have a great time. The get to lose their jobs or their college loans. They get to spend all their money on a defense attorney. They get to have their children taken away to foster care. They get to have their homes and vehicles seized by the police.

But the most fun part is when you're in a cell being held down by four weight lifters while Bubba shoves it up your ass. These guys are very polite. They take turns...

KroniklyBlazed, you might want to pull your head out of whatever part of your anatomy it's in, take a look at the real world, and have a little compassion for other people.

If you like smoking and growing because it makes you feel like a criminal, you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

Grow to get free weed!

Smoke to get high!

You are correct my knowledge of canada is limited at best i know most of the west coast and people smoke in and outside of public places and the worst the cops would tell them is to take it somewhere else

smoking and growing because it's thrilling because it's legal is not only stupid but irresponsible. people who do shit like that are usually stupid high school kids who use weed as a party drug. it's stuff like this that kills the argument for those of us who'd like to use it responsibly

i see what your saying i just think it would take some of the fun and excitement out of it i remember when i was young when i first started smoking and half the battle is finding some and when you get it your so excited about it if it was so readily available like between the cigs and the jack i think it would just become more of a mundane every day thing like "oh yeah gotta go pick up some joints forom the gas station real quick ill be rightback"

This is not true. Many people in Canada from B.C. to P.E.I. are arrested and let go on a promise to appear in court. In my own experience it is more likely that you will have to appear in court if the police catch you with weed.
