I'm coming home from university and will be driving from Vancouver to SAn Francisco. I have a used pipe and I dont know how worried I should be about it. Should I bother cleaning it first? I dont have much free time so I'd rather not if I dont have to. I'll be with my mom, so might that help with the suspiciousness part? We'll be in a van with tons of boxes, so I dont know how much they're going to want to search, if at all.

The have dogs at the border and dogs are amazing at finding the things they're trained to find. Clean the pipe thoroughly before carrying it or mailing it across the border. Remember that it is against federal law to import drug paraphernalia.

your pipe isnt worth it. leave it in canada, im sure you can cope in california. unless you plan on cleaning it so well that not ONE speck of resin remains, then vacuum sealing it, then dont plan on getting pass the border, that shit is for real and you will go to jail if they find it.
