No one says you can't get so high you pass out. That's not toxicity, that's simply the effect of a high dose. Toxicity has to do with how much it would take to kill you. The dose that would kill 50% of users is referred to as the LD50 (lethal dose 50%). It is estimated that the LD50 for marijuana is 20,000 to 40,000 the amount it takes to get you high.

Operating a motor vehicle on public roads in such a state is absolutely unacceptable dont you think?
I don't think anyone would want people on the road who are too stoned to function well. The Ohio law has nothing to do with that. It criminalizes trace amount of THC metabolites being found in blood or urine, far less than what would allow you to pass a normal UA.

Smoking will not produce effects of this nature
I don't think so, Tim. People can easily get too altered to drive safely by smoking, even people with 39 years of smoking experience, like me. Telling people that they can smoke as much as they want and still drive safely is doing them and the general public a disservice.

Thumbs up smoke and drive?

I dont think I could eat 44 lbs. of grass... (!!!)

guess I didn't include enough info to make the conclusions I did.

What I meant to say is that smoking moderately generally wont cause hallucinations, distortions of perception, or motor-function impairment... to a point... Not trying to advocate irresponsible activity...

I forgot to say that.

Good thing we have moderators in this forum

Peace

The driver license suspension is the biggest pain. It is weird that paraphernalia carries a bigger fine...go figure.

Cool First off.......

the possesion law in Cincinnati was being challenged in Municipal court in that city. That case has been dropped and will now go to Ohio court and has been filed and is awaiting a date.

The testing levels will end up in the same place, just give it time........

Default Before you praise Ohio too much

Before you all move to Ohio. Ohio is one of only 3 or 4 states where you can get a "DUID" Driving under the influence of drugs". The problem is when the do the blood test were you driving while or right after smoking or were you smoking 2 days ago.
