First to Calico:

The legal system in America, depending on who is being represented and how the standards are in the local where the trial is being run, does make it exceedingly difficult from time to time to have a fair and even trial...however, you did sign a document waiving that right to trial so, even though you got intimited faced the consequences, it is still techincally your fault.

Ok and now onto a side note Posted by Buzzby:

I love my country. I love the principles on which this country was founded. I'd like to see it get back to those principles. I prefer to stay here and make it a better place to live by working for the legalization of marijuana, dumping the Bush administration, and getting some balance back into the federal government.
See and heres the thing, not everyone loves this country, nor does everyone love the principles by which this country is founded on...would it be better that they stay in the U.S and feel almost trapped in a country sized prison, or is the option of leaving a better idea?

Sure Canada, and hell any country for that matter, is going to have its fair share of issues, but not everyone living in those country's agrees with the principles that those countries are founded on and therefore move to the US or somewhere else. Why is is so damning for someone who doesn't agree with the US to just get up and leave? It almost makes it sound as if, and this applies to everyone with the "don't let the door hit you" policy, that if you don't like America, then too bad, because America is the pinicle of civilzation.

It just frustrates me that American's play this double standard of: "Hey look we are so great no one should ever leave; and No one should ever be aloud to enter unless they fit our standards."

Please don't take this the wrong way, but hell the system is pretty screwed up, examples range from calico's not so great advice on how to handle an legal issue, to Gitmo and secreat prisons being run by the US.

Tomas Jefferson had it right, we need a revolution every couple years or the system just turns into what we ran away from. (Let me say that again: RAN AWAY FROM!!).

Sorry to get this off topic, and if someone want to move this into a new thread in the lounge feel free.

You may not think you are "stupid" or "ignorant", but you are both for posting enough personally identifiable information about your illegal activities for your PO to recognise you here on this forum. It seems that being full of yourself will get you sent back to jail; being smart is not enough protection from your attitude.
Are you serious man?

Jesus Christ.

Let me help you understand something. My Probation Officer DOES NOT surf the Marijuana Cheap Talk forums. I mean seriously, be realistic.

For fun though, let's pretend that she did come home from work one night and sat down infront of her computer with her hot chocolate and honey bun. Let's pretend even more that she comes across this thread, and she notices my thread.

Okay................. Now what's supposed to happen?

"Calico" from a "unspecified" location in Virginia gets a call in the morning informing him that he has just violated his probation?

Is that what's supposed to happen?

Seriously guys, think about it.

umm . . . Calico, come on down and take a little piss test.

You are so damn sure your PO isn't looking here; but what of her friends, family, fellow PO, fellow LEO, next door neighbors? The point is that you should not relate such details of your life on the internet, while on probation or parole. You were not relating advice, rather you were bragging about your circumstances of dealing with impunity.

When you brag about your efforts on here or Myspace, chances are that word will get back to the man (or woman as is the case). I don't care that you are a cocky some-be-itch, but others might not understand the impact of their words written here. You are not anonymous and it can be used against you.

And I don't need some punk kid to tell me how the world goes round, I've got plenty of experience to back my thoughts. You, Calico, are disposable - the other young men on here are more important and deserve some protection. Personally identifiable information is not good for those on probation or parole here or elsewhere on the internet.

Name one sentence I typed that contained "Personal identifiable information" that would allow my P.O., her friends, or her dog to select me out of the thousands and thousands of people on parole in this great state of Virginia.

Also, I wanted to ask you what I was bragging about that would put me in "danger" of getting in trouble. I made a statement in a thread that was posted over a two weeks ago. So excuse me for not knowing what I did wrong. But then again, how can you expect some "punk kid" to understand all of this.

You can't. So do me a favor please kind sir.

Take all of that "experience you have to back up your thoughts," and explain to me how the Virginia State of Probation is going to violate a log-in name.

Oh really? What's my government name then?

........?

What's wrong, you don't know?

Well I guess that makes me anonymous then doesn't it Mr. Genius.

You asked for it . . . so here it is for you and your Probation Officer:
Quote:
I just got released from prison/jail six months ago after serving 16 months for delivery of marijuana. I spent six months in jail, then was sent to a youth offenders prison for 10 months. I was then released on one year probation with a suspended 3-15 year sentence.

This was my first felony offense, and it was only marijuana.

Not only that, I was forced to pay $330 dollars resitution for the money the police used to buy the drugs off me.

I took my piss test two weeks ago and passed, then went home and got so high . . .

I spent a total of 6 and a half months sitting in the regional jail waiting to be sent to the Anthonys Creek. The six and a half months didn't even count because the Anthonys Creek is a program, and you don't get to start working towards getting out til you're there.

Once I get it (bail bond) lowered, I pay $1,200 to get out until my court date which was two weeks away.

Two weeks later after I'm sentenced, I'm sent back to the regional. I spent four and a half months there waiting while other people in my pod left every week to go to Anthonys Creek.

I've been on probation 6 months so far. When I go to see my P.O., she complains about everyone getting in trouble and giving her a hard time. Then she looks at me and tells me I'm doing well and thanks me.
That is enough personal information to identify you, most all those details are quickly confirmed in your file, and it contains variations of stories you have told your PO, Lawyer and Public Defender - so it will sound familiar.

Perhaps you will reread your own thread for the answer to what you have been bragging about - dealing and ignoring the consequences.

While the cops or probation officers do not actively troll for probation violations on this or other sites, why give them the chance. If you are this sloppy in your real life - you be going to the grey-bar motel soon.

And mostly I write for the other men who might read this and be on probation or parole - you, silly boy, were warned by numerous other posters about this issue. My goal is to protect the other smart men here who might benefit in advance from not posting personal details on the internet.

The world is a very small place, and your little southern state is just down-right tiny in the scheme of things. You will understand the reality of this in another 30 years, and I hope you don't have to spend all that time in Prison to learn this.
