I'm wondering how the laws work with respect to actual THC. Is it illegal to posses THC by itself, or mixed in something else apart from the marijuana plant. Say I make a small vial of Green Dragon and just carry it around on my person and get caught with it by a cop. Is this technically Illegal to have? Is THC Illegal, or is the actual marijuana plant/bud illegal? I'm talking United States of course, and I guess laws on this may vary across states, but It seems to me like cops couldnt really do anything to me for having a jar of alcohol with THC in it... Interesting, what are your thoughts? I guess the same could be said for space borwnies and the like if they are found on your person.

This is my first time posting by the way, just registered today Been reading on here for a while though.

THC is a Schedule I drug and is, therefore, illegal anywhere in the United States under federal law and, AFAIK, state laws.

So at the same time, say I have some bud that the THC has been extracted from that a police officer were to find on my person or in my car, is this legal then if there is no THC?

Any part of the cannabis plant is considered to be marijuana and is illegal. Its THC content doesn't matter.

well one advantage is that itll be a whole lot harder for them to find. Unless they smell it. But you could probably cover up most of the smell with the food if its food with a strong odor, like alcohol or canna-cheese used for pizza if you use lots or even moderate amounts of garlic, or somethig like anchovies or something else that smells alot (not necessarily bad smell)

You forget about body language. While I may not be a prime example, I tend to get a little light of foot, and perhaps a little slow eyed when I smoke. Certain things affect certain areas, and the intimidation factor that a good deal of police give off doesnt help.

Its better than actually having actual grass or hash. Even if he says to the brownies, what is this? he can't prove it is a space cake. If you cover up the smell of the weed with the food, its no problem, no suspicion whatsoever.

As for the part of him noticing you high, well you shouldnt be high and driving in the first place even though you MAY be capable of driving fine. If hhe asks what is in the pizza or brownies or milkshake, and asks is this pot? You just say "wtf, thats my brownies for my neice, don't touch em thell get squashed!"

Did I miss something? What's the point of using marijuana for anything after it's had all of its THC extracted? It certainly wouldn't improve the taste or texture of food. Smoking it would do nothing but irritate your lungs. It might even be carcinogenic without the tumor-suppressant effect of the "active ingredients".
