Alright, so i just got busted for possesion of marijauna and paraphanalia. i just turned 17 so im being charged as an adult. it was less than a qaurter of weed and its my first ever encounter with the law. i got taken to jail for 4 hours. now here are my questions:
1) ive been told im most likely going to get on probation, but all my friends tell me that it might just be like a parental probation because its my first offense, but i dont kno if that still applies because im and adult. so my question is does any one know if i will for sure get a probation where iget tested or is it a toss up or what?
2) I got busted with the weed on me right? so they obviously know ive smoked it right? but what i dont get is my friends all tell me that im gonna get dropped on my court date, but i dont see how it matters wethher i drop positive or not because they already kno i had the weed and was smoking it. could it worsen my sentence if i drop positive?

i know these arent exactly the most organized set of questions but any advice is much appreciated. thanks in advance

i know when my friend got busted they gave him 1 month to get clean before they tested him, though in his case I believe that was up to the judge, because he admitted to smoking. Not sure if there is a steadfast rule about that. Good luck anyway.
