| Sounds reasonable enough, I was just in the dark on the topic. Thanks for clearing it up! ![]()

| yeah the lady that followed him was on the phone with the 5/0 the whole time. i've seen the report and she was saying stuff like: "I see smoke coming out of the windows and paraphanallia is being passed around. It definately does not smell like tobacco." She basically went 45 minutes out of her way to bust my friend. what a *****. it was all his own homegrown weed too. all his time and effort only to be busted right after harvest... ![]()

| I just wanted to say that SUCKS!! I sympathize with your friends plight, why the HECK do we have people willing to go so far out of there way just to bust you for smoking weed!?!?! You were not hurting anyone, and she just hurt your friend badly. What a sadistic b**ch! Every time I hear stuff like this it frustrates me and makes me lose (even more) faith in our country and the people in it. *rant mode off* Chris D |

| Sure... I am going to get slammed on this, I know..But.. Your friend had it coming. Why was he smoking in his car? Why did he let somebody see him smoking? Dumb.... If it was home grown, why did he have 6 oz's in his car? He had to have been selling it. I think that he made a poor decision and got caught. How come when a person gets caught for doing something, we want to blame an old lady and not take responsibility ourselves? If you friend was acting responsible, he wouldn't have got busted. Don't blame somebody else for his mistake.

| I'll go one further (and now I know I'll probably get flamed for this one) If I were driving and I see somebody obviously smoking doobage in a car, I would watch them. The second I though that the driver is being irresponsible, I would call the police. And before somebody asks, it became my business the second the driver got on the road. It is my responsibility to keep myself, my wife and my son safe. What a sadistic b**ch! Hate to break the news to you, but little old ladies love to call cops. If this is news to the guy that got arrested, I'd rather not have him on the road anyway. |

| Daniel, you're right. You won't get flamed by me. If this guy was smart he'd carry less than that if he had to transport it. He also wouldn't have been smoking in plain view. He also wouldn't have been smoking while driving. Sounds like this guy was just too stupid to see the risk in what he was doing. He brought it onto himself. He'll get none of my sympathy. ![]() |

| he is really responsible and wasn't smoking himself. his friend was. i agree thou that he shouldn't have even let his friend blaze while they were transporting that much. |

| whether what a person does is right or wrong all depends on your point of view most of the time... in this case pot heads will all unite and say this lady was simply a ***** who deserves to be shot for calling the po's. and then the mothers against marijuana and all the other people who believe in holding up the laws against marijuana will say "good job" to this woman. the bottom line is that smoking is a risk and when you smoke in a car or a public place (the street) you are taking an even greater risk. when a person has six ounces you must take precaution. while I do sympathize for your friend i believe that this is something that should make people think. noone can afford to be pulled over with over an ounce... this is one of the reasons i think legalization and education are so important. the government must be aware of marijuana's benefits and of its true dangers. and smokers such as ourselves must be aware that right now, we do live in a country which makes smoking illegal. So, reguardless of the fact that some old lady called the cops on you... it is still your fault. | |

| What I'd like to know is why he wasn't suspicious of that old bag following him for 45 min. I'm sorry, but if I saw some nosey old bag following and watching me for so long, I'd try to divert the geriatric ***** and, if that didn't work, get rid of the stash, and FOR GOD'S SAKE, I would've told my friend to put the pipe away. I can't believe your friend was so oblivious. I'm tellin' ya, old ladies are nothing but bad news |

| Let me tell you from my end........more burglaries and such get solved by nosy old ladies than by fingerprints and a bunch of high tech stuff.
