| I have to admit, I was pretty pissed at the old lady when I first heard the story, but if you look at it from the standpoint of it being a safety issue (stoned while driving) then I'm less sympathetic to the defendants. Question burning on my mind: Do you think the old lady followed them because she thought the road was too dangerous with them on it, or simply for smoking weed, regardless of the hazard? [edit] Then I wondered what made her think anything of it in the first place. Don't tell me you didn't think it smelled like tobacco... that's nonsense. I fail to believe an old lady has this exquisite sense of smell that she can pick up the specific scent as they whiz by in their cars. So what, then? Maybe she saw a pipe being passed around? Please don't tell me they were using a bong driving around. I'm curious as to what clued her in to them, because her story has some fish holes in it. |
