well f***. my friend was driving along the highway today and to make a long story short some lady followed him and called the cops. well he got pulled over.... they po-liece found 6oz's of weed and so yeahhh.... he's phucked

anyone know if they can charge him with traficing? he's 22. this really really blows

Possession of greater than 28.5 grams is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $500.

With that much they could say he had intent to sell or traffic and add on some more serious (Felony) charges.

Why did she call the cops? If its something too personal feel free to tell me to shut up. That sounds kinda weird that some woman just called the cops. I'd like to know why that lady felt that was the thing to do...

Sounds like more than simple possession, depending on the state.

tell your friend to get a good lawyer. she/he will be able to *most likely* plea down the sentencing depending on where you are from.

i bet the lady that followed called 911 and reported it as suspicious activity - that gives probable cause to search the suspects vehicle in most (if not all) cases.

was there any marijuana smoke or noticable smell in or around the car?

Yeah Ive heard of parents that do that. They are sick and tired of having drugs in there neighborhood so they go out on the streets themselves. And if they see someone that they know is a dealer, they'll follow him/her. They are just a bunch of narcs. I know you know what Im talking about. Like MAM. or "Mothers Against Marijuana," and they have more. Like MATD. or "Mothers Against Truck Drivers." just go to norml.org

actually there is something called 'mothers against truck drivers'...yeah i know i know...that sounds like the stupidest thing at first if u don't know what they're talking about.

basically "MATD" is made by people that have lost loved ones due to truck drivers falling asleep at the wheel. it is made to remember those that have lost their lives due to tired truck drivers. they have a website, but i don't know what it is...and i can't post it...at least i think i can't?
