A quick question for LEO's.

Okay... I was just kinda curious about this...

Say I lived in your area, and I organized a small smoking session outdoors on these boards. If you happened to read it, would it be your duty to come and bust us? Or would you look the other way because it's the internet?

Why would any LEOs take the time and expend the manhours/resources to track down a bunch of stoners through these boards?

Heck, in my city, all any LEO has to do is drive to any of the housing project neighborhoods near here, and bust any of the numerous dealers you can find on a number of street corners.

That is just my opinion…I could be wrong

Would it be my duty????? To an extent, yes.

Would I do go bust you???? Probably not. But don't think that other LEO's don't read this board either. And just because I wouldn't, another one just might. In addition, anyone crazy enough to make their smoke sessions publicly known should probably be arrested anyway (survival of the fittest and all).

That reminds me of a thread I saw in a MJ newsgroup started by some person who kept wanting to know where he could buy some pot. The only responses he got were like No officer we don't know anyone here who sells pot.

I've read posts and replies like that on other forums too.

Personally, I think any cop that would bother trying to set that up in a public chat is either really bored or doesn't have a clue how to find it on the street.

I also think that anyone that would sell or buy over a post like that is a schmuck.
