| I was reading Joey420's thread and it lef me to a question: Could anyone bring something in to a police station and submit it as evidence and claim they found it somewhere? Like in Joey's case (Hope you don't mind me referring to it) he's mom brought in 1/2 g to the police station, so could that actually be submitted as evidence since the police did not find it, and there is technically no proof of it being where it was? |

| The short answer is that it can be submitted. There will most likely be a supression hearing (if your lawyer has any brains) and it will be up to a judge to determine the admissability before trial even starts. Obviously, if it's supressed, there will be no trail, since there is no admissable evidence. Whether the judge admits it or not is extremely variable.
