| He was out after curfew with me, and the officer found a bong, but no weed in my car, and the kid was within 50 feet of his house...can he still be charged with curfew? |

| I was *just* about to ask this same question. The other day a friend of mine stopped by my apartment and brought his little brother. His brother is 16 and I'm just wondering what would happen if we got busted while at my house. What if his parents bust him and he admits to smoking at my place?

| Since I've never read your local curfew ordinance, I'm just guessing, but isn't there a provision allowing the minor out if he's under the supervision of an adult? Most have that. Was he in the car with you? If it was your car and the stuff was yours..........I'd have a hard time seeing a charge against the kid or really relating to the kid unless it could be proven that you were allowing him to use the bong.
