If I were to grow one or two or three or four plants for my own personal consumption, would that be considered the same as traffiking in Georgia? Norml website says yes. Any opinions?

I can't tell you about GA in particular. In the places I do know about, it would be considered "manufacture", which is often placed at or near the same level trafficking.

the law makes no certain act to be trafficking,but goes by the amount of herb in your possesion.

Anything less than nine ounces in a garden is still considered simple possesion.If you are busted with a garden that goes over 9 ounces,then you will be charged with trafficking in herb.

I suppose if you are busted with a bigger amount than 9 ounces,then you will be assumed to be planning to traffic,although this seems to assume a felonious act simply through the act of possesion.I personally don't agree with it,but then again I don't write the laws.

A search for the revised code in your state may give you better answer's.I do know that Ohio has some of the most liberal herb laws in the U.S.

I think pot plants are pretty funky looking and would love to try my hand at growing a few for personal consumption but the cost if you get caught is just too freakin high. I guess I'll just continue to pay high prices till the laws change.

I still like the thought of growing my own, just because it would be fun and if you ever peruse the grow journals, the plants become like children. Ok, that's an overstatement, but fun to watch none the less. It just seems ludicrous that two or three plants are considered "cultivation" and can carry the same penalties as trafficking.

that it seems like the people that write the laws don't know a damn thing about what they are writing the laws about!
They have hash listed as a felony for possesion of any amount
here in Ohio,but we all know that hash is simply the scrapings or pollen off a pot plant!So,if they wanted to get technical about it,they could charge you with possesion of hash just because you have herb in your possesion.

Second thing...why is it a major felony just to have a larger amount in your possesion?If you are going to have a stash,isn't it better to have a large stash so you don't have to fool around with getting a sack all the time? Sure it is!

I think that they have people writing possesion laws that don't know a damn thing about what they are writing laws about!

(Oh hell...thats the way they write laws most of the time anyway,isn't it?)
